Online Somatic Movement Classes

Online Somatic Movement classes are a wonderful way to explore these gentle, yet profoundly effective movement patterns. You’ll discover ways to release stress from your nervous system that will leave you feeling more relaxed, supple and at ease within yourself.
Online classes take place via Zoom. When you book for a class/term you will be sent the link and password to access the class. Please see below for current schedule of classes.
Tuesday Online Classes
11am – 12 noon (UK Time)
Continuing Students
This class is suitable for students who are familiar with the foundational Somatic movements – either through attending classes regularly, 1:1 sessions or a Beginner series.
Wednesday Online Classes
11am – 12.15pm (UK Time)
6 Week Beginners Series
This course will introduce you to the fundamental prinicples of Somatic Movements. You’ll learn how habituating to one or more of the 3 stress reflexes contributes to chronically tight muscles and how it’s possible to release these muscles once you understand the 3 key elements of Somatic Movements. Each class will explore in depth the fundamental and most effective Somatic Movements to release stress, tension and stiffness so you can rediscover your ability to move with ease. It’s best if you can attend most or all of these classes as each one will build on the previous one. You will receive guidance for your home practice and an audio recording of each class.
Thursday Online Classes
11.00am – 12 noon (UK Time)
Continuing Students
This class is suitable for students who are familiar with the foundational Somatic movements – either through attending classes regularly, 1:1 sessions or a Beginner series.
Term Dates and Cost:
Continuing Students Classes: 10 Week Term
Next term dates: From 3rd April – 29th June 2023 (no classes on week of 10th & 17th April and 5th June)
Cost: £100 (term) or £12 Drop In
When booking for the term, it’s possible to make up any missed classes by attending another class. Please note all missed classes must be made up within the term time and cannot be carried over to the next term. Thank you for understanding.
Beginner’s Series: 6 week course
